PROJECT OVERVIEW

A long-running collaboration with the C9 franchise delivering over 20 fit-outs across their expanding network of dessert venues. The brief required more than interior design, it demanded the development of a complete brand environment that could translate consistently across diverse tenancy types and sizes. The result is a distinctive visual language that communicates C9's identity as both an ice cream destination and a full dessert café experience.

ABOUT THE DESIGN

The C9 interior language is immediately recognisable — high-contrast tones, textured wall panels and bold graphic elements combine to create an energetic, Instagram-ready environment. At the Marrickville flagship, the palette includes deep yellows, exposed brick-effect surfaces and a custom-designed service counter that anchors the space. Pendant lighting draws the eye upward, while the merchandise display and gelato counter form the spatial center piece. Every detail, from joinery profiles to signage integration, reflects the franchise's personality while maintaining the operational efficiency required in a high-turnover retail food environment.
