PROJECT OVERVIEW
A landmark mixed-use development in the heart of Parramatta delivering 12 luxury residential units above a commercial ground floor. The design achieves a rare balance — activating the street with commercial frontage while maintaining a resolved, private residential environment above. Deep cantilevered balconies and rounded masonry profiles give the building a distinctive architectural identity, while elevated garden terraces soften the massing and introduce greenery at every level.
ABOUT THE DESIGN
The building is striking from the street — a rhythmic, tiered composition that rises from a generous glazed commercial base into increasingly private residential floors above. The facade is characterised by rounded masonry corner elements that contrast with the bold horizontal projections of the cantilevered balconies, creating a dynamic interplay of solid and void. At the upper levels, planted terraces introduce a softer, green quality to the roofline. The material palette layers warm white masonry against dark framed glazing and lush hanging greenery — a combination that reads as distinctly contemporary while responding to Parramatta's rapidly evolving urban character. The commercial activation at street level is defined by full-height glazing and generous canopy coverage, creating an inviting and vibrant pedestrian experience.
